“ We had one of the samplers that had ribs, briskets, pulled pork, and chicken. All the meat was good. The ribs and brisket were my husband's and my favorites respectively. The fries were good as well. We went with a group of friends and they were all happy with the food. Recommended! ”

“ This evening my wife and I stopped at the City BBQ in Castleton. We were promptly greeted at the register by a nice young man. I had a question about one of the new items on the menu and was offered a sample of immediately. The burnt end sample was really good, but we stuck with a couple of our favorite items today. We had 1/4 chicken (leg & thigh), a brisket taco and a chicken taco. Our sides were green beans and potato salad. For dessert I got the Strawberry Cobbler, and my wife ordered the chocolate chip cookies. Like always the food was delicious, but the Strawberry Cobbler was absolutely incredible. Would like to see this on the menu all year, but this way I get to look forward to a treat in the spring. ”

“ Man O' Man... We LOVED City BBQ. We came to Indi for a last ditch weekend away over SpringBreak... and we wanted some dinner after a long day at the Childrens Museum... A family vote landed us at City BBQ. Upon arrival, the parking lot was nearly empty (which 'can' be a red flag) Olive Garden was packed and Red Lobster seemed busy, but why wasn't this BBQ spot busy... NO CLUE. Since we were 'vacationing...' I wanted to get a photo with me and my son next to the BIG City BBQ painting on the wall outside... and as we were squatting down to get a photo, an employee walked over from behind the building. I casually asked him what was good here, and he passionately began to go down the list of Pastrami, and Turkey and Ribs... I told him the turkey sounded good. He assured me everything was great... Likely story. But he wasn't lying... OMG... we got the turkey, (I did) My 10 year old got a generous half slab of ribs (he ate 3) and my wife got the half a chicken... And it was ALL amazing...!!! The half a chicken would have been enough for all 3 of us. It was huge..!! The Turkey was amazing, and my kid loved the ribs...!! They had a nice selection of sauces... The 'original' was my favorite. And then before we left, I even approached the staff behind the counter and said, I was surprised yall arent super busy... that was amazing..!! And the guys told me they were plenty busy throughout the day. They were all smiling and gracious. The same guy we met outside was in the lobby helping a guest and he asked us if everything was okay. We told him it was amazing...and he told us how he worked for a donut shop chain (name left out to be kind) but he said it was all premade and packaged... and had no soul. lol. VS City BBQ... he said they smoke the ribs themselves... and you could tell he took a certain amount of pride in his work. It was our favorite food stop in quite a while. We may just make the 2 and a half hour drive back to Indi just to have City BBQ again.... LOVED this place. Thanks again for the service and sustenance...!! ”
